07/30/2014 - FAIRFIELD, CALIF., JULY 30, 2014 -- As part of a strategic realignment of the U.S. domestic business Jelly Belly Candy Company announced plans to consolidate Jelly Belly confectionery manufacturing in the company’s California headquarters and a workforce reduction at the Jelly Belly North Chicago manufacturing facility. Jelly Belly North Chicago will continue manufacturing with a reduced workforce dedicated to private label and contract confectionery manufacturing. Private label food products have reported double digit growth in recent years.
07/29/2014 - FAIRFIELD, CALIF., July 29, 2014— Have you ever seen a tiger made out of 11,000 Jelly Belly® jelly beans? No roaring required, you can see one this year on Jelly Belly Day at the 2014 Wisconsin State Fair. Jelly Belly Artist-in-Residence Kristen Cumings will create a portrait of a Bengal Tiger out of jelly beans on August 4, 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Each bean will be placed by hand but she will also have time for autographs, questions and photos.

07/15/2014 - FAIRFIELD, CALIF., July 15, 2015 – Celebrate everything sweet in life at Jelly Belly Candy Palooza, a free candy festival on Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Meet special guests Paris Themmen (Mike Teevee) and Julie Dawn Cole (Veruca Salt) from the 1971 film, "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory" on both days of the event. Enjoy carnival rides and candy tastings and browse arts and crafts booths throughout the festival, watch animal shows and take a pony ride. These are a few highlights of the sweet two-day event with all-day musical and dance performances on the Jelly Belly stage.

04/22/2014 - It’s National Jelly Bean Day, and if you’ve never imagined jelly beans as anything more than a classic movie theater treat, one look at these mosaicswill change that. 14,000 individual beans were placed by hand and applied to a large canvas for each creation, according to Jelly Belly, who released photos of the new edible creations. The first piece was made in 1982 after President Ronald Reagan expressed his love for jelly beans and San Francisco artist Peter Rocha recreated his likeness, and now even the British royals have been honored with a portrait.
